Degree requirements are at least 35 credits of course work. Credits are selected from an approved menu of courses as follows: 16 credits in common core curriculum coursework, 9 credits in specialized microbiology courses (workshops, advanced laboratories) and 10 credits in professional master's cohort courses (public policy/regulatory courses, communication skills, Frontiers seminars, internship). Courses are periodically modified to reflect new offerings or changing scientific emphasis.
